Roles and Responsibility:
  • Implementing quality control plans and procedures to provide the most efficient and effective onsite construction works.
  • Identifying, Analyzing and Resolving Issues and problems related to the Quality for Construction of oil & Gas tanks.
  • Planning and Coordinating QA/QC activities, ensuring quality control of the work according to contractual requirements.
  • Familiar with welding, piping & tank codes. i.e. API 650,API 653
  • Preparing the QC procedures for tank & piping works.
  • QA/QC activities as preparation of Test packages, welding, and piping inspection including punch list clearing and witnessing hydro test of tanks.
  • Supervise, inspect and witness all necessary requirements of NDT such as the Radiographic test, Dye Penetrate test, Magnetic Particle test, Ultrasonic test, and Painting Inspection for piping & tanks.
  • Raw material inspection which includes, Pipe, Plate, Fittings, Fasteners etc correlating with MTC.
  • Issuance of request for inspection to client / TPI and coordination with the department concern.
  • Material verification of pipes and fittings as per applicable CODE/STANDARD Joint fit-up inspection and preparation inspection for Tank & pipe joints.
  • Dimensional inspection of Storage tanks. Weld visual inspection of Storage tanks, Pipes & Structural Works.
  • Inspection for Tank Peaking, Banding & Tank Roundness. Interpretation of Radiographic films.
  • Dry Film Thickness (D.F.T.) Check for painting
  • Conducting and witnessing of Pneumatic Test, Hydro test, etc., Responsible for making all QC Documentations.
 
Desired candidate:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in tankage & piping.
  • Must be a ASNT level II certificate holder.
  • Excellent analytical and computer skills, specifically in Ms Office Suite
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Should have basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
 
QUALIFICATION:
  • B.E. Mechanical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • CERTIFICATION: ASNT LEVEL II
