The AutoCAD Draftsman will collaborate with engineers and other professionals to create accurate and precise drawings for a variety of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize AutoCAD software to create detailed technical drawings according to project specifications, sketches, and instructions.
- Interpret and understand architectural and engineering drawings, blueprints, and other technical documents.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to review and revise drawings as needed.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards, industry codes, and regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers to prioritize and manage workload effectively to meet deadlines.
- Maintain organized files and documentation related to drawings, revisions, and project specifications.
- Assist in identifying and resolving design issues and discrepancies during the drafting process.
- Stay updated on advancements in AutoCAD software and drafting techniques to enhance skills and efficiency.
- Adhere to safety standards and procedures while working on projects
Qualification:
- Civil engineering or equivalent experience in drafting, engineering, or a related field Proficiency in AutoCAD software with 1+ years of experience in drafting.
- Strong understanding of drafting principles, techniques, and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve design issues.
