Job Description
Position Summary: The Finance Manager (FM) will oversee all aspects of financial management, performance management, financial accounting, budgeting, and corporate reporting. Reporting to the Financial Controller/Managing Director, the FM must possess sound technical and management skills to lead a team of finance professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide financial advice and counsel to senior management by synthesizing internal and external data.
- Implement best practices to identify and manage financial and business risks.
- Analyze investment decisions and assess their impact on the organization's financial position.
- Develop suitable accounting policies to meet reporting requirements.
- Compile and present management information for decision-making.
- Assess tax issues to minimize the organization's tax liabilities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the organization's financial system and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage accounting policies and procedures.
- Coordinate the annual financial audit process.
- Provide financial leadership and strategic thinking to support sustainable value creation.
- Resolve issues arising from audit findings and respond to internal and external auditors.
- Supervise the preparation of consolidated financial statements and forecasts.
- Calculate taxable income and income tax liabilities.
- Strategically utilize management information systems for effective business control.
Desired candidate:
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years in finance management roles within IT, finance, or consultancy services organizations.
- Education: Inter CA, CA, MBA Finance.
- Prior industry experience in IT, Finance, Consultancy.
- Experience in UAE, GCC, India, Singapore, Malaysia preferred.
