Job Description
- Setting up new workstations, troubleshoot workstations and user issues. In addition, making sure that all services are operational and error free.
- Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts in AD accordance with HR requirement
- Configure, Test & Maintain LAN/WAN equipments and related servises
- Verifying backups and scheduling disaster recovery plans
- Monitor server functions, performance and event logs to insure optimum performance
- Designing writing and updating system documentation and network diagrams
- Identify area of improvements, identify SPOFs and propose changes
- Managing jira service managment issues and resolving it at timely manner
- Interact with multiple teams - Development , Sales & Global IT
- Supports security projects such as ISO 27001.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on IT systems, problem resolutions and IT Processes
- Work with InfoSec/Cyber security team to meet critical security compliance requirements for India office server and networking
Requirements
- 5+ years of related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively meet deadline
- Windows system administration & database administration (MS SQL)
- Patch management
- Firewall administration and networking knowledge
- Stong understanding of networking fundamentals, OSI model,IPv4/6 subnetting, IP routing and switching protocols
- Experience with security (IPSEC, SSL-VPN, NAT, GRE)
- Experience with palo alto , bitlocker or baramundi would be a plus
- Knowledge and experience with ISO 27001
- Knowledge and experince operating with in ITIL ITSM organization with a background of service now/jira service management would be a plus
- Strong communication skills in written and verbal mediums across time zones; ability to communicate with business users and technical users
