Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Interaction:

  • Develop and implement creative and positive distraction techniques to ease patient anxiety.
  • Utilize a variety of methods, such as conversation, games, and entertainment, to divert patients' attention from any preoperative stress.
  • Communication:
  • Effectively communicate with patients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
  • Crisis Management:
  • Be prepared to handle situations where patients or their families may require additional support.
  • Maintain a calm and composed demeanor in high-stress situations.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and feedback.
  • Provide feedback to the healthcare team on patient experiences and areas for improvement.
  • Qualifications:
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or healthcare setting is a plus.
