Job Description
- Upgrade existing web applications from Laravel 5.6 to the latest version, Laravel 8.
- Develop, test, and deploy new features and functionalities across multiple projects.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct thorough testing of applications, identify bugs, and implement timely fixes.
- Optimize applications for speed, performance, and responsiveness.
- Develop and integrate APIs, plugins, and thirdparty services as needed.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues reported by endusers.
- Maintain and update WordPress websites, including plugins, themes, and core updates.
- Stay updated with emerging web development trends, tools, and technologies.
- Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.
Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of handson experience in full stack web development.
- Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework (experience upgrading Laravel versions is a plus).
- Experience with frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
- Solid understanding of database systems (MySQL, SQL) and query optimization.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to multitask and efficiently manage development, testing, and bugfixing tasks.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience in UI/UX design principles is a bonus.
- Previous experience with API development and integration is desirable.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is advantageous.
